The Judicial Evaluation Committee (JEC) investigates and evaluations the qualifications of person who seek, or may be considered for nomination, election, appointment to or retention in judicial office. The JEC operates under a special resolution of the Board of Managers, and consists of 168 members in the investigation and hearing divisions. Members are pledged to strict confidentiality and terms are limited. Rigorous demands for attendance and strict confidentiality are enforced.
