Requests to admit are one of the most powerful, yet underutilized tools available to litigators. This program will examine requests to admit under both Illinois Supreme Court Rule 216 and Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 36. This program is focused on the practical use of this discovery tool, including how to offensively use them to streamline and advance your case. Additionally, it will give practical insight on what to do when served with requests to admit, and how to appropriately respond to them in order to protect your clients from the most common pitfalls associated with improper responses.
