Increasingly, technological literacy is an essential part of an attorney's professional competence, and technology plays an important role in delivering quality legal services. But technology can also have dangerous consequences.

This program will explore the use and abuse of specific technologies that could result in potential hazards, and how a little defensive driving will help you avoid ethical violations. We will examine the updates to the ABA Model Rules and provide hypothetical scenarios to help illustrate how the rules apply.

Scott Renfroe, Chief, Supreme Court Practice, ARDC
Catherine Sanders Reach, MLIS, Director, Law Practice Management & Technology Division, CBA
